  136. Manic Karts makes best use of whatever memory your machine has available,
  137. and use up to 16MB of ram. If you are playing Manic Karts on a machine
  138. with less than 16MB, then the number of kart animations will be reduced 
  139. to fit in the space available.
  140.  
  141. If you are running SMARTDRV, this uses memory that could be used by Manic
  142. Karts, so it is a good idea to disable SMARTDRV by removing it from your
  143. autoexec.bat file. Edit the file autoexec.bat, and type the word 'rem' at
  144. the beginning of the line which contains SMARTDRV. Remember to include a
  145. space after the word 'rem'. If you want to re-instate SMARTDRV, then simply
  146. remove the word 'rem' to leave the file autoexec.bat in its original state.

  154. For those of you who are able to connect their sound card to a Pro-Logic
  155. Surround Sound decoder, this is highly recommended, as you will then be
  156. able to appreciate fully the 3D panning of the sound effects.
